Returns Policy

At Relax Seating System Pvt. Ltd., every product is manufactured and supplied with attention to quality, durability, comfort, and long-term usability. As our products include office chairs, institutional seating, HoReCa furniture, public seating, sofas, salon chairs, auditorium furniture, and customized seating solutions, our return policy is designed to maintain fairness, transparency, and business clarity.

Please read this Returns Policy carefully before placing an order.

 

1. General Return Policy

Returns are accepted only under the terms specifically mentioned in this policy. Once an order is placed, cancellation, return, or refund will be subject to the product type, order status, customization status, and dispatch status.

Relax Seating System Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to approve or reject any return request based on order details, product condition, dispatch status, and company policy.

 

2. No Return on Customized Products

Customized chairs, customized furniture, made-to-order items, specially manufactured products, modified models, customized colors, customized materials, customized dimensions, bulk institutional orders, or any product made as per customer-specific requirements are strictly non-returnable.

Once a customized order is confirmed, it cannot be returned, cancelled, exchanged, or refunded under any circumstances.

 

3. Return Policy for Regular Models

For regular, standard models, return or cancellation requests may be considered only if the request is made before the item is dispatched.

If a valid return or cancellation request is raised before dispatch, the customer may be eligible for refund as per the Refund Policy.

Once the product is dispatched from our factory, warehouse, office, or delivery point, no return request will be accepted.

 

4. No Return After Dispatch

No return will be accepted after dispatch of the product.

Dispatch means the product has left our factory, office, warehouse, delivery point, or has been handed over to a transporter, courier, logistics partner, customer-appointed vehicle, or delivery representative.

After dispatch, the order will be treated as final and non-returnable.

 

5. No Return for Wear & Tear

No return will be accepted for damage, deterioration, or issues caused by regular wear and tear.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Fabric usage marks
  • Seat compression due to regular use
  • Scratches from handling or movement
  • Improper usage
  • Mishandling
  • Overloading
  • Exposure to water, moisture, heat, sunlight, or chemicals
  • Damage caused by lack of maintenance
  • Normal fading or aging of materials
  • Damage caused after delivery or installation

Wear and tear is not considered a manufacturing defect.

 

6. No Claim for Transport Loss or Damage

Relax Seating System Pvt. Ltd. shall not be responsible for any product loss, damage, breakage, dent, scratch, delay, or mishandling caused during transportation.

No return, replacement, refund, or claim shall be accepted for transport-related loss or damage once the product has been dispatched.

Customers are advised to inspect goods at the time of receiving delivery and coordinate directly with the transporter or logistics provider for any transport-related issue, if applicable.

 

7. Manufacturing Warranty

Relax Seating System Pvt. Ltd. provides a 2-year manufacturing warranty against genuine manufacturing defects, subject to inspection and approval by our team.

The warranty covers manufacturing-related defects only. It does not cover:

  • Regular wear and tear
  • Transport damage
  • Misuse or mishandling
  • Accidental damage
  • Damage due to improper installation
  • Damage due to unauthorized repair or modification
  • Damage caused by water, fire, moisture, chemicals, or environmental exposure
  • Damage due to overloading or abnormal usage
  • Fabric, upholstery, polish, foam compression, wheels, hydraulic parts, or accessories unless specifically covered in writing

Warranty claims will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The company’s decision shall be final.

 

8. Lifetime Service Support

Relax Seating System Pvt. Ltd. offers lifetime service support for eligible products, subject to service feasibility and location coverage.

Lifetime service support is available only within a serviceable range of 10 km from our factory or office location.

Service support beyond this range may be chargeable, unavailable, or subject to special approval based on product type, location, manpower availability, and service requirements.

Service warranty does not mean free replacement of parts. Spare parts, transportation, technician visit charges, labour charges, or other costs may be applicable depending on the case.

 

9. Inspection & Approval

Any return-related request, if applicable, must be submitted with order details, invoice copy, product images, videos, and reason for return.

Relax Seating System Pvt. Ltd. may inspect the product physically or digitally before approving any return-related request.

Products must be unused, undamaged, and in original condition for any return request to be considered before dispatch. Approval is not guaranteed and remains subject to company policy.

 

10. Final Decision

All return-related decisions will be made by Relax Seating System Pvt. Ltd. after reviewing the order type, customization status, dispatch status, product condition, and supporting documents.

The company’s decision shall be final and binding.

 

11. Jurisdiction

All disputes, claims, or matters arising in relation to returns, orders, products, warranty, service, or business transactions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Kolkata only.
